Director of Sales and Promotions -

Harris Theater for Music and Dance -

As a member of the Senior Staff, the Director of Sales and Promotions will lead the strategy, planning and execution of Harris Theater promotions including advertising, media buying, direct mail, internet sales, group sales and sponsorship to increase earned income for the HT Presents Series and special presentations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and industry programs to meet buyer targets

•  Prepare and negotiate advertising, media buying, partnerships and business-to-business sponsorship proposals and contracts

•  Conduct market research and consumer research to plan strategic campaigns effectively

•  Design promotion campaigns and tactics from inception through implementation

•  Monitor and analyze sales results to determine ROI; present reports to Executive leadership on outcomes

•  Develop and effectively manage operating and expense budgets to meet revenue goals, program objectives and industry benchmarks

•  Stay informed on market trends, professional literature, innovations which impact consumer buying patterns and sales channels; act as a resource for team members to apply this knowledge across marketing tactics…

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  6+ years of experience as a manager leading sales, promotions and marketing campaigns

•  Experience working in arts, culture and entertainment industry

•  Proven success in sales presentations and solicitations; excellent communication skills

•  Working knowledge of Tessitura a plus; experience in tracking performance metrics and ROI data

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues
